Based on Wilder's autobiographical Little House books, the show starred Melissa Gilbert (Laura), Michael Landon (Charles Ingalls), Karen Grassle (Caroline Ingalls) and Melissa Sue Anderson (Mary Ingalls) as the Ingalls family for nine wonderful seasons on NBC.
